Dr. Andreas Görgen, Head of the Department of Culture and Communication at the German Federal Foreign Office, presented the International Museum Cooperation Agency of the Federal Foreign Office. The Agency is planned to act as a service institution that supports international cooperation between German and international museums. One of its aims is to consolidate local competences to support international projects related to the construction and conception of museums. It would do so acting in close cooperation with already existing German structures and institutions working in the field.
